About Buttonwoods & Olde Buttonwoods
Located along Greenwich Bay in Warwick (zip code 02886), Buttonwoods and Olde Buttonwoods represent two of Warwick's most charming coastal neighborhoods. While connected, they each maintain distinct identities.
Buttonwoods developed as a summer colony in the late 19th century along the shores of Greenwich Bay. Today, it's a blend of year-round and seasonal residences with direct access to waterfront activities.
Olde Buttonwoods is a historic enclave characterized by its Victorian-era cottages, tree-lined streets, and strong sense of community heritage. This section has preserved much of its original character and represents a unique slice of Rhode Island coastal history.
Both areas offer residents a relaxed coastal lifestyle with convenient access to greater Warwick amenities and easy commuting distances to Providence.
